Steel Production Engineer

Duties to be performed :

• Study drawings and specifications and prepare material estimate for new orders.
• Prepare material scheduling.
• Issue requisition to Stores for materials as per Material Schedule;
• Coordinate with Stores for material requirements.
• Plan daily production based on overall monthly production plan.
• Supervise all the production activities and offer feedback and instruction to all factory workers regarding productivity and quality improvement.
• Interact and exchange information with production workers and supervisors for day to day activities. • Ensure all production plans and deadlines are adhered to.
• Prepare daily production report (daily work done by each fabricator and actual production output of the plant).
• Coordinate with Powder Coating Department and agree on a weekly powder coating run.
• Participate in the Employee’s performance evaluation processes.
• Perform other duties as required to support the activities and initiatives of the company.
